A good landing page gets you clients/customers faster, easier and 2x more than any other website can but here’s the trick.
Besides your UI/UX designs your message matters.
Mistake most companies and we web developers make is making the page all about them/ the company. No, it shouldn’t be like that, a good landing page should solve problems right? Therefore, the page itself should be all about the visitors/customers.
A landing page shouldn’t be focused on multiple products, it makes clients lose interest easily, but a single landing page for a single product and a single button (CTA - Call To Action) makes conversion of clients to customers easier, faster and more consistent.
Stop designing and developing your landing page to sound like homework to clients instead, it should be exciting and enchanting.
Also functionality matters, not only appearance is it working? The performance, the speed - LCP (Largest Contentful Paint), FCP (First Contentful Paint), TTFB (Time To First Byte), and as regards to your CTA button INP (Interaction to Next Paint) - how fast your button reacts to clicks.
All these are generally important in websites though.
