In this code walkthrough video, we will build a multi-AI agentic system for customer support from scratch while understanding

  • every import,

  • tool calling, prompt,

  • every Agent component,

step by step.

The explanation style remains the same: humour, simple analogies and real-world examples.

Interesting approach with CrewAI. The agent handoffs seem like the tricky part did you run into any issues keeping the responses consistent?

On the handoff consistency question, what helped most on support crews was making the handoff an explicit contract instead of free text. Each agent passes a small fixed structure: what the customer actually asked, what has already been verified, what is still unknown, and how confident it is in that. The next agent reads fields rather than prose, so it stops re-litigating what the previous one already settled.

The other half is deciding up front what happens when a tool call fails mid chain. Without that rule the crew improvises an answer, and that is where most of the inconsistency people hit in production actually comes from.
