I think you left out the most important way that devs have always gotten answers (still today as far as I go)

Try it! Seriously, I think that I have learned far more from trial and error than I ever did from stack-overflow. Not that I didn't use the crap out of it. But lets be honest, we just copy/pasted the top answers code block, because if you read anything else on the site, ... well, those people were pure, unadulterated assholes.

This really captures the evolution of how developers find answers. From Google and Stack Overflow to AI assistants, the tools changed but curiosity, debugging, and learning by trial and error are still the real superpowers.
