Nice breakdown of HeatWave’s lifecycle management, really makes the different states and shutdown types easy to visualize—curious, has anyone run into unexpected delays when restarting a stopped DB system?

@[Peter Jones] Definitely happens ,the biggest culprit is usually "Immediate" shutdowns (fastest to stop, slowest to start due to crash recovery), but I've also seen delays from HeatWave cluster reloads if you have a ton of data, or when the underlying storage needs extra time to attach after extended stop periods.
